The company’s headquarters and primary production facilities are located in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, which provides convenient and economical access to the United States, Central America and South America. Orchidom is as close to its customers as their telephones or their computers.
At Orchidom today, there are more than two million orchids under cultivation, flowing from a laboratory that is currently producing 600,000 plants per year. The production of the laboratory flows to 150 greenhouses containing more than a half million square feet under roof. Orchidom is celebrating the seventeenth anniversary of its founding this year. It was launched in 1996 pursuant to a business plan dedicated to the production of top-quality orchids to meet the needs of commercial orchid growers and wholesalers in the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America.

Rogert Espaillat is Orchidom´s President and a member of the Board of Directors. He is responsable for the Company´s day-to-day management, with responsability for production and sales in the Dominican Republic as well as for exports to the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America.

Roger B. Cole is a co-founder of the Company and a member of the Board. He is responsable for de breeding of Cattleyas and larger-growing Concidium intergenerics. He is an American Orchid Society Accredited Judge and a past Chariman of the National Capital Judging Center.

William H. Savage is a co´founders of the Company and the Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is also responsable for the company´s Oncidium and Dendrobium hybridizing programs.

Nancy K. Mountford is a co´founders of the Company and a member of the Board. She is responsable for the company´s Phalaenopsis, Psychopsis and Vanda hybridizing. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Orchid Society as well as an AOS accredited Judge.
